Chief Executive Officer
Chris Peters joined ESHIPS in 2009, prior to taking over as CEO in April 2017, Chris was the CFO of ESHIPS. Before joining ESHIPS Chris had a 20-year career in International Banking predominantly working in Shipping, Offshore and Oil Services. Chris has a BSc in Financial Economics and an MBA from Cass Business School, London majoring in Strategy and Finance.
Chief Operating Officer
David has been a Chief Engineer on merchant vessels, a Lloyds Register of Shipping Class Surveyor and a Technical Manager, with a large, Hong Kong based, Management company, before becoming an independent Marine Consultant. He has almost 40 years of experience in the industry and has been the Shipping Advisor to Tristar Transport for the last 6 years. He has now taken on a more formal role with ESHIPS, since February 2019.
Atul Bhamri joined ESHIPS in 2009. He has over 14 years’ experience within the shipping industry, during which time he has fulfilled various roles in finance and accounting.
As the Finance Director at ESHIPS, in addition to working closely with the Management Team in formulation and execution of business strategy, he is also responsible for Corporate Governance and Risk Management.
Atul is a Chartered Accountant, a Chartered Global Management Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
Shailesh is a Master Mariner and has a sailing background mainly on Oil tankers and Gas Carriers.
In his shore based career spanning over 13 years , he has a diversified experience of working for ship owners , tanker pool operators , and oil trading companies and held roles as Global head of tanker operations for an oil and gas fleet & involved in chartering, post-fixture, insurance, claims and technical activities of the fleet. He holds a Masters of Science degree with distinction in Shipping, Trade and finance from Cass business school, City University UK and is a Member of institute of chartered Shipbrokers, London since 2007.
Sanjay Sachdev has joined ESHIPS from 02nd February 2018 as a Technical Director and will be heading the Technical Department of Eships. Sanjay has over 30 years of experience in the Marine Industry and brings with him vast managerial and technical expertise. His sailing career spanned over 16 years on diversified fleet of vessels – bulk carriers, Self unloaders and Chemical Tankers. He spent 21 years with MOL (Mitsui OSK Lines) both at sea and ashore in a variety of roles culminating with that of Fleet Manager. He has a vast experience of managing vessels belonging to major ship owning companies in the world and has supervised a fleet of oil Tankers (VLCC’S) and Gas Carrier (VLGC’s and VLEC’S).
